Beginners stilts - all ages
Ever wanted to walk on stilts? This class will teach you from the very beginning - and it's easier than it looks!. Younger kids are encouraged to bring an older buddy to help support them.
Beginners Aerial - all ages
Love hanging around upside down? Then this is the class for you! Learn the skills of trapeze, tissu, cloudswing and Spanish web. No prior experience needed.
Beginner Hoops - all ages
At some point, everyone has hula'd a hoop - why not re-learn an old skill, have some fun and get some new tricks while you're at it! Suitable for all ages, with no experience needed.
Advanced Hoops
For people who can maintain a hoop at chest height. New tricks & expert advice from professional hooper Jodie Farrugia.
Beginner Aerial Ring
Learn the beautiful art of the Aerial Ring (or Lyra) in this beginner-level class. Size restrictions may make this class difficult for younger kids.
Intermediate Aerial Ring
For students who have previously worked on Lyra. Join professional lyra artist Laura Cummins to further extend your skill and knowledge of the ring.
Spectrum Bring A Friend - all ages
We’re offering a discount deal for anyone currently enrolled in a RUCCIS class to bring along a friend to teach them your favourite circus tricks!
Mini-tramp & Double Mini
Hemlock Mejarne competed internationally on the Australian Sports Acrobatics team on mini and double mini, and has returned to RUCCIS to share his skills and experience with you. Extend your Mini-Tramp skills and be introduced to the Double mini. Some mini-tramp experience required.
Basket & Pitching - 2 Parts
This 2-part class follows our booked-out workshop in term 2. Hemlock teaches the art of throwing and catching people. Great for anyone interested in group Acro. Experience in acrobalance required. If you are interested, but can't make both classes, please call Luth on the RUCCIS phone to discuss.
Table Sliding
You can't play on the kitchen table, but you can slip, slide and swivel in this workshop! Basic tumbling experience required (dive roll).
Performance Development
For current RUCCIS students who already have an act prepared for Knox Fest, and would like to work through it with a professional artist.
Advanced Stilts
Hemlock will teach some new tricks, roving skills and fun games to our confident stilters. Come and enjoy the art of stilts! Competence in stilts required.
